Dr. Charles E. Guest

Dr. Charles Guest is an Arkansas native and graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental School in 1967.

Before opening his practice in Kingsport, Tennessee, he served in the military as a dentist with the Marines in California and the Naval Air Station in Guam. During his four-year military career he completed internships in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Periodontics. Dr. Guest has spent his entire career learning all aspects of his field. He likes to describe it as “his vocation and his avocation are the same.”

Dr. Guest has completed many Continuing Education Courses to continually update his skills and expertise in cosmetic and functional dentistry. Dr. Charlie has graduated from Pankey Institute in Miami, Florida, The Nash Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry in Charlotte, North Carolina and The Internal Congress of Oral Implantology.

With a friendly well-trained dental team, the office of Dr. Guest, Guest and Guest is constantly seeking ways to serve their patients better. Our dental team believes in getting to know each patient on a personal level, keeping them an enthusiastic patient in a serene and comfortable setting, and coming back year after year. In fact, many of his patients refer their family and friends to the office and, to Dr. Guest; that is the ultimate compliment.

Dr. Guest is married to his beautiful wife for 50+ years. They are the parents of three wonderful children, two of which are his dental partners here at the Chestnut Grove Dental Complex. Dr. Guest is also blessed to have six grandchildren who puts a glow in his heart that he enjoys spending quality time with.

Dr. Cheston Guest, DMD

Dr. Cheston Guest is a native of Kingsport, completed his undergraduate work at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina where he played on the Furman Soccer Team. Dr. Guest graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1995, receiving the Outstanding Pediatric Dentistry Award. He presently lives in Kingsport with his wife and two daughters and has been practicing dentistry with his father since 1995.

Dr. Guest is a long-standing member of the Kingsport Dental Society and past President; he remains active in many professional organizations and continues to update his skills through research and continuing education. He has completed The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Chet practice all phases of General Dentistry, which includes cosmetic dentistry, restoring implants, root canal therapy, tooth colored fillings and TMJ pain. His passion and talent for creating beautiful smiles for his patients is noticed throughout the community.

Dr. Guest volunteers his services at the Friends in Need Dental Clinic and is a past member of the Board of Directors. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Kingsport Boys and Girls Club and is a former member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Meaghan Guest, DMD, LVIF

Dr. Meaghan Guest is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. She attended Furman University on a soccer scholarship, graduating in 2000 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Guest worked in Genetic Research for the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. after graduating from Furman University and began dental school soon shortly after working for the college. Dr Meaghan graduated in 2005, (receiving the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Award given by the Oral Surgery Department.) and continued her education on with a one-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry at MUSC.

Dr. Guest practiced General Dentistry for two years in Charleston, S.C. after finishing her residency. She returned to the Tri-Cities area to join her family in their dental practice. Since her return, Dr. Meaghan has acquired many hours of on-going education. She has graduated from The Nash Institute for Dental Learning and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where she holds the honor of accredited fellow (LVIF). Dr. Meaghan is a member of the International Association for Orthodontics. She completed her training in straightwire orthodontics in 2012 and continues her training in Invisalign. Dr. Meaghan is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

Dr. Meaghan resides in Kingsport with her husband, Andy and two children. She’s an Active Member at First Broad Street United Methodist Church
