Dr. Charles Guest is an Arkansas native that graduated from the University of Tennessee Dental School in 1967, where he was and still is the youngest graduate.

Before beginning his practice in Kingsport, Tennessee, he served in the military as a dentist with the Marines in California and the Naval Air Station in Guam. During his four year military career he completed internships in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Periodontics. Dr. Guest has spent his entire career learning all aspects of his field. He likes to describe it as "his vocation and his avocation are the same."

In 1973 -1976 he attended and graduated from the world renowned L.D. Pankey Institute in Miami, Florida. Dr. Guest has completed many Continuing Education Courses each year to continually update his skills and expertise in high tech dentistry. His latest endeavor is the curriculum at the Ross Nash Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry in Charlotte, N.C.

With a laboratory and lab technicians as part of the office and a friendly well-trained staff, the office of Dr. Guest is constantly seeking ways to serve their patients better. The staff believes in getting to know each patient on a personal level, keeping them an enthusiastic patient in a serene and comfortable setting, and coming back year after year. In fact, many of his patients refer their family and friends to his office and, to Dr. Guest, that is the ultimate compliment.

Dr. Guest is married to his beautiful hygienist wife of over 40 years. They are the parents of three wonderful children. Their oldest, Chad, and his family live in Rock Hill, S.C. where he is the manager of a Super Wal Mart. Son, Chet, and daughter, Meaghan, both dentists, are practicing with their father at the Chestnut Grove Dental Complex.

Dr. Cheston Guest is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee, who comes from an extensive dental family. Dr. Guest completed his undergraduate work at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina where he played on the Furman Soccer Team. Dr. Guest graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1995, receiving the Outstanding Pediatric Dentistry Award. He presently lives in Kingsport with his wife and two daughters and has been practicing dentistry with his father for thirteen years.

Dr. Guest volunteers his services at the Friends in Need Dental Clinic and is a past member of the Board of Directors. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Kingsport Boys and Girls Club and is a former member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Recently Dr. Guest received his coaching license from the State of Tennessee and coaches with the Holston Valley Futbol Club. He also is a volunteer coach and referee for the Upward Basketball program. Dr. Guest, a member of the Kingsport Dental Society and Past President, remains active in professional organizations and continues to update his skills through research and continuing education.

Practicing all phases of General Dentistry, which includes cosmetic dentistry, restoring implants, endodontic therapy and composite fillings, Dr. Guest is able to create beautiful smiles for his patients. With an onsite laboratory, he can offer veneers, direct bonding and all-ceramic crowns giving the patient the smile makeover they are seeking. Dr. Guest is frequently told that his care and compassion for his patients are the qualities that make him an excellent dentist.

Dr. Meaghan Guest is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. A Dobyns-Bennett High School graduate, where she was part of the State Champion Soccer team, awarded All Star Soccer, member of the track team, cheerleader, and awarded the Tennessee State Athlete Scholar Award.

She attended Furman University on a soccer scholarship, graduating in 2000 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Guest worked in Genetic Research for the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. after graduating from Furman University. Dr. Guest then began her Dental School education at the Medical University of South Caroling, graduating in 2005, receiving the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Award given by the Oral Surgery Department. She continued her education with a one-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry at MUSC.

Dr. Guest practiced General Dentistry two years in Charleston, S.C. after finishing her residency. She has returned home to practice with her father and brother. Currently she is enrolled with the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry (LVI) to obtain her accreditation in Cosmetic Dentistry.
